Captial region Counties are launching a coalition effort to craft a smart growth plan for Albany, Columbia, Greene, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Warren and Washington Counties. This project is part of the Cleaner, Greener Communities program, a major environmental initiative announced by Governor Andrew M. Cuomo last year.
